jake pater

Having studied Real Estate at London South Bank University, Jake joined the niche retail agency Harper Dennis Hobbs before moving to SBH Page & Read specialising in industrial and office agency. He joined Pater Johnson Merriman in 2009 and was made a director in 2011. Jake’s area of expertise is the North and North West London industrial sector; however he has a wide and varied client base across the British Isles. In recent years Jake has focused his attention office agency across the City and West End of London and has been involved in disposals and acquisitions on a number of iconic buildings across the capital.

Jake acts as CEO of the Nextgen group and is responsible for creating, communicating, and implementing the companies objectives. He is active in the day to day commercial management portfolio and offers investment and development advise to many organisations and individuals from private and public companies through to institutions, banks, trade companies and charitable trusts.

Jake is married with three children. He is on the board of a variety of charities and is an avid Tottenham Hotspur supporter.

jason Grussgott

Jason started his agency career alongside Jake Pater at Pater Johnson Merriman before joining Drivers & Norris where he became the firms youngest Commercial Director. He has subsequently established himself as one of London’s leading commercial agents with a varied and trusted client base. He has exceptional knowledge of the London investment & development market and if you want to know what’s going on in the property world, you need to know him.

As a founding partner, Jason heads our commercial agency team and is a specialist in sourcing off market opportunities, working tirelessly in pursuit of investment and development opportunities on behalf of clients. He has built an excellent reputation for advising developer clients in regeneration areas including Holloway, Hackney, Woolwich & Tottenham.

Jason eats, sleeps & breathes property. In the rare time spent not working, he explores the country adding to his shopping list of buildings and sites that he aspires to acquire.

raphael Tenenbaum

Raphael is a co – founder of Nextgen RE having previously held roles at Lambert Smith Hampton and Ironbridge Finance. He runs the finance operations of the business specialising in Investment/Portfolio finance, Development funding Short term lending, Unconditional purchases, Refinancing. Raphael has funded projects across a variety of sectors including office, retail, student accommodation, shopping centres, residential development, industrial on behalf of large corporates, major private clients, private equity firms and institutional investors.

As a Belgian expat, Nextgen benefit from Raphaels extensive knowledge of 6 languages including French, Dutch, Italian, & Hebrew. His tenacious attitude on behalf of his clients interests is unrivalled and he prides himself of the highest level of service on behalf of his clients.

Joshua Klein

Joshua joined Nextgen Real Estate as a director in 2019 after 4 years at Leo Newman. During his career, Joshua has been responsible for the mobilisation and subsequent management of a wide variety of property portfolios incorporating residential, retail, offices industrial and leisure uses. He has considerable experience in all aspects of asset and property management including operational set up of portfolio instructions and multi occupied buildings.

Joshua has a simple vision for the expansion of the Nextgen Management business, which is to be the most forward-thinking provider of property management services with a customer first attitude. Our approach focuses on ensuring that your income is protected by creating tenant satisfaction and we aspire to offer a best in class management service.

Effi Grussgott

Effi joined Nextgen Real Estate in June 2019 to establish & manage the commercial lettings department. He primarily services our management portfolios, meaning he has a diverse range of clients & instructions across the country. He has a strong understanding of the City Fringe Market and has an excellent reputation with existing clients and local tenants who appreciate his tenacious attitude. In August 2019 – Effi set the highest rent ever achieved for a retail unit on Hatton Garden.
